After displaying the battery power level, Scorbly will begin a new game. You can now use the remote control to change the score. You can access the management web page to change the game format and other settings.
Charge the Battery
The scoreboard has an integrated high power battery which is rechargeable through a USB Type-C connector using a certified USB power source. A USB wall adapter and charge cable are included.
A fully charged battery should provide over 3.5+ hrs of play (for a 3 set match with brightness level set at 4/5). The charge will last much longer for single set matches (only two digits are illuminated). This time can be extended further if an external USB power source (i.e. battery pack) is connected.
It takes about 3.5 hrs (using the provided USB power adaptor) to fully charge a depleted battery. The charger will not overcharge the battery - e.g. you can leave the unit attached to the charger for days and it will not damage the unit. The battery will also not over discharge - e.g. you can run it until it shuts itself down and it will not damage the integrated battery.

To charge the scoreboard, turn off the scoreboard then connect the USB power source.
The charger status lights are located on the display unit just above the power switch. The following table describes the status based on the various LED states.

Keeping Score with the Remote Control
The remote control is ready to use out of the box. Just press a button to update the score. Scorbly includes a belt clip with retractable cord that can be attached to the remote control. This makes it easy for a player to quickly update the score while on the court.
The remote control has 4 buttons labeled A, B, C and D.
A: press when team A scores a game (or point - optional *)
B: press when team B scores a point (or point - optional*)
C: rewind through the saved scores
D: return forward though the scores
(*) Scorbly Tour can be configured to track only games/sets, or configured to also track point scores (briefly flashes the point score after a point is won, then returns to the set/game scores). Furthermore, Scorbly Tour can be configured to support almost any imaginable tennis score format. See Advanced Settings for more information.
The display flashes to indicate which team was awarded the point/game. This allows the player pressing the button as well as the other players to easily see if the wrong button was pushed.
The set scores for up to 3 sets are always shown for spectators to easily follow along.
Click the play button on the demonstration videos below to see how to keep score and track who serves next with Scorbly.
Mounting the Scoreboard

On the center back of the scoreboard there is a ¼” mounting point that can attach to any standard camera mounting gear. A thumbscrew is included for hanging the scoreboard on a court fence. The single attach point allows you to hang between seams of wind screens found on many court fences. Screw the thumbscrew into the 1/4" mounting point and then hang the scoreboard by guiding the thumbscrew head through a link of the fence.
There are also a vast array of other mounting options available on many online stores. Inexpensive tri-pods or fence post clamps provide excellent alternatives if fence mounting is not an option.
